Common questions
How is my attendance percentage worked out?
It's your office days divided by your business days for the month. Business days exclude weekends, the public holidays for whichever calendar you chose, and any day you logged as annual or sick leave — so taking leave never counts against you.
My public holidays look wrong.
Check which holiday calendar you've chosen under Settings — holidays are applied per state or territory. If it's set correctly and a date is still missing, email us and we'll add it.
Why didn't my colour theme carry over to my phone?
Light/dark mode and colour themes are saved on the device you set them on, not to your account, so each device keeps its own look. Everything else — your target, state, and attendance history — follows your account everywhere.
I never got my confirmation email.
It's sent from noreply@officepulse.app with the subject “Confirm your email address”. Search your mail for that address rather than scrolling — it's the quickest way to find it on a phone.
If it isn't in your inbox, check junk or spam. On Outlook, Hotmail and Live addresses it most often lands in Junk Email; and if you have the Focused inbox turned on, check the Other tab as well, where mail is delivered normally but filed out of sight. A work address on Microsoft 365 can also hold it in quarantine, which only your IT administrator can release.
Found it in junk? Mark it as not junk, or add the sender to your safe senders, before you click the link — that keeps your password-reset emails out of there later.
Still nothing after a few minutes? Don't keep signing up — repeated attempts are rate-limited, which slows delivery down rather than speeding it up. Email us and we'll confirm your account manually.
How do I get my data out?
Settings → Export your data will download your attendance as a CSV, up to 12 months at a time. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. It removes your account and all of your attendance data straight away, and can't be undone — so export first if you want a copy.
